Kings are gone and also their kingdoms,
Landlords are gone and also their lands (estates),


Democracy came,Politicians came, and now their children came

రాజులు పోయారు, వారి రాజ్యాలూ పోయాయి,
జమిందార్లు పోయారు, వారి జామీన్లు పోయాయి,

ప్రజల రాజ్యం (ప్రజాస్వాయం) వచ్చింది, ప్రజానాయకులు వచ్చారు,
ఇప్పుడు వారి పిల్లలు వచ్చారు.
